The Show Must Go On

Brief: Position GoDaddy as a champion of British small and micro businesses amidst one of the worst financial crises in a generation. 

Approach: Three years after the devastating effects of the pandemic, independent theatres across the country - themselves small businesses that contribute significantly to their local communities - were seeing reduced ticket sales as consumers grappled with a new cost-of-living crisis.

Ahead of panto season, GoDaddy partnered with the Society of Independent Theatres to demonstrate the scale of the issue while providing free advice from GoDaddy on how to maximise revenue through an improved online footprint.

Outcome: The campaign cost less than £5,000 and generated more than 100 pieces of coverage. GoDaddy’s evaluation and reporting software identified the campaign as the brand’s most successful of the year globally.
